Girl group Girlkind has officially disbanded.
Their agency, Next Level Entertainment announced on 13 August that the group is disbanding through their social media accounts. They cite internal issues as the reason why Girlkind disbanded. All other posts on the girl group’s Instagram have also been deleted since the posting of their disbandment news.
Their disbandment notice was released in Korean, English and Japanese simultaneously. Read the full statement from Next Level Entertainment in English below:

It’s Next Level Entertainment.
We’re lastly answering the questions that many followers requested.
Please perceive that it took a while to make an official assertion. Due to inner points, after discussing with [the] Girlkind members, the ultimate resolution was made that Girlkind group actions may not be maintained.
Accordingly, Girlkind’s official actions will finish on August 13, 2022. Thank you for supporting us and making quite a lot of recollections with us on the previous 1670 days.
We wish to say thanks to the followers.
Please proceed to indicate your help and love for every member’s private actions.
Next Level Entertainment
Girlkind debuted in early 2018 with their track Fanci.
Their latest release was 2021’s Good Vibes Only.
We wish the Girlkind members all the best for their future endeavors.
