BTS Get #1 On 9 Billboard Charts With ‘Yet To Come’

Fans have been loving BTS’ recent anthology album, Proof, and the lead single off of it, Yet To Come. How can we prove this? They have been getting number 1 on every music chart there is.

Getting number 1 on music charts or charts of any kind really - is not a new thing for BTS. They are the biggest musical act in the world right now and have been for a couple of years. But something that is new to BTS too is getting number one on a whopping 9 Billboard charts at the same time with the same release.

Yes you read that correctly. BTS got number one on nine different Billboard charts this week. The album Proof took the number one spot in 5 Billboard chart categories - Billboard 200, the Top Album Sales chart, the Top Current Album Sales chart, the World Albums chart, and the Tastemaker Albums chart. This is the sixth consecutive time BTS has topped the Billboard 200 chart with their album releases. Additionally, it was also revealed that Proof is 2022’s most sold album in the first week by a group.

Likewise, Yet To Come got number one in the World Digital Song Sales chart, the Digital Song Sales chart, and the Global Excl. U.S. chart while also being the most sold song in the U.S.

BTS came back with Proof on 9 June. The music video for the title track Yet To Come was also released the very same day and has racked up over 103 million views in about 2 weeks since release.

Some days after the album’s release, while they were celebrating their ninth debut anniversary during BTS Festa, the group announced they are going on an indefinite hiatus. While they will halt full group activities for the most part (after Proof promotions), they will film Run! BTS episodes and work on their solo careers.
