October brand image rankings for girl groups have been released by the Korean Business Research Institute.
With a brand reputation index of 7,170,250 Blackpink maintained their spot at the top of the list in the month of October. The YG girl group had “Shut Down,” “concert,” and “YouTube” as the top-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis and “by far,” “surpass,” and “long run” as their top-ranking related terms.
With a brand reputation index of 4,267,366, legendary girl group Girls’ Generation climbed up to number two on the list this month. While IVE slid down one spot to be placed third on the list in October with a brand index score of 4,143,670. Twice and NewJeans rounded up the top five spots at fourth and fifth places with a brand reputation index of 4,049,033 and 3,165,030, respectively.
The rankings were calculated using big data collected from 10 September to 10 October, and an examination of many girl groups’ consumer engagement, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes.
