Hybe’s new girl group Le Sserafim has been super popular right off of their debut on 2 May. Since they are currently promoting their debut album and the title track off it, Fearless, the members are being invited to various variety shows.

They also released their own variety show on their eponymous Youtube channel where they find out their MBTI and animal MBTIs.
Since the group had a lot of hype around their debut - coming from the same company as BTS and Tomorrow X Together and having two former Iz*one members who are already super popular and well known to the public, they even got to guest on super popular variety shows like Knowing Bros or Men on Mars. Le Sserafim’s Sakura and Chaewon guested on the show alongside Billlie members Tsuki and Moon Sua, and comedian and Celeb Five member Kim Shinyoung.
Although a super funny show that features a number of comedians and funny celebrities as permanent cast members, Knowing Bros is also known for being a show where guests often reveal surprising things about themselves that wasn’t known to the public before. Le Sserafim’s appearance was no different.
The big reveal came from Sakura who talked about her parents’ divorce and the only time she had met her father.
Sakura discloses that her parents divorced when she was one and she was raised by her mother alone with no contact with her father. She then delved into a story about meeting a man during one of her earliest fan signs who told her he had been cheering for her. As she shook the man’s hand, Sakura had the sudden realization that the man in front of her was in fact her father. Although she was pretty sure about her intuition regarding this, what confirmed it was that the next person in line was an elderly woman who asked Sakura if she remembered them. Sakura thinks the woman was her grandmother - her father’s mother. She further revealed that she hadn’t seen or heard from the man/her father ever since.
Sakura seemed a little unsure about divulging this piece of personal and intimate information but the hosts kindly encouraged her to talk about it confidently. She seemed a little teary eyed by the end of the story. Billlie’s Tsuki, who outed herself for being a big Skura fan, also seemed very moved by the story - to the point that she got goosebumps while listening to it.
