Girl group IVE have joined the ever growing list of Kpop acts coming back in August.
IVE have hit it out of the park with their success and popularity right from their debut. Their introductory single, Eleven, was received pretty well by fans. They got a total of 13 music show wins and sold 152,229 copies of their single album.
However, it was their second release Love Dive that established them as one of the leaders of this generation of Kpop. Love Dive was a mega hit among Korean and international fans alike. Both the catchy melody of the song and the beautiful and elevated teen crush-esq visuals the group served throughout their promotion period were praised by fans. They won another 10 music show awards for this track - the last win being just last week on Inkigayo.
So, it isn’t an understatement to say IVE’s upcoming comeback is highly anticipated by their fans and Kpop fans in general.
On 18 July, news site Asia Today released a report stating that IVE will release a summer comeback soon. IVE’s agency Starship Entertainment immediately responded to this news by confirming it. They revealed that IVE is currently preparing hard for their comeback in August.
IVE will be joining a string of other popular Kpop artists including Girls’ Generation, Blackpink, Tomorrow X Together, Choi Yena and Twice among others coming back this August.
