August brand image rankings for girl groups have been released by the Korean Business Research Institute.
With a brand reputation index of 6,372,130 Blackpink is still topping this list in the month of August. Their index number this month is a whopping 103.34% more than their July number. Blackpink had “world tour,” “Youtube” and “teaser” as the top-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis and “reveal,” “make a comeback” and “release” as their top-ranking related terms.
With a brand reputation index of 4,693,611, legendary girl group Girls’ Generation climbed up to number two this month. This is a 84.01% increase in their index score compared to last month. Twice rose up to be placed third on the list in August with a brand index score of 3,355,60. IVE and Red Velvet rounded up the top five spots at fourth and fifth places, respectively.
The rankings were calculated using big data collected from 14 July to 14 August, and an examination of many girl groups’ consumer engagement, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes.
