Son Naeun Is Leaving Apink

Son Naeun is officially leaving Apink.

The idol has been promoting as a member of the group for 11 years - since Apink debuted in 2011.

Naeun uploaded a handwritten letter on her Instagram on 8 April announcing this news.

The announcement doesn’t come as a big surprise since Nauen is the only member of the group who didn’t resign her contract with IST Entertainment last year. She is now under YG Entertainment and is actively promoting as an actress. Earlier this year too, Naeun had to sit out of Apink’s Dilemma comeback since the comeback promotion schedule clashed with some other work commitments she had signed up for earlier.

The letter Naeun posted on Instagram reads:

Hello. This is Son Naeun.
I've thought a lot about how I should talk about this. And even now as I'm writing this, I am very nervous.
I am leaving Apink, whom I have been with for the past 11 years.
Apink is like a family to me and we have been together for a long time. I made this difficult decision after much deliberation. It was not an easy decision, but now I will become another Panda who supports Apink.
Members Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, Hayoung…, IST staff and the many people who have worked hard since the beginning of Apink to now, and the most precious fans. Looking back on the past times and memories now, I can't describe how I feel about it in words, but…
My sincere thanks to everyone who gave me a happy time, and made my 10s and 20s the most dazzling. I want to thank you for everything.
I will engrave the title ‘Apink's Naeun Son’ in my heart and I will show you a better side of me so that I won't bring shame to that name. That is how I can repay you.
Please love Apink a lot. I will be sincerely supporting Apink too.
So far, it has been Apink's Son Naeun!

We’re sorry to see Naueun go but we wish her all the best for her future endeavors. What do you think about this? Let us know by commenting below!
