Due to popular fan demand, NCT Dream announced new dates and a new venue for their THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream concert.
The group had to cancel their concerts on 29, 30 and 31 July at the Gocheok Sky Dome because some members tested positive for Covid-19. The show was sold out for all three days. Fans were upset about the cancellation of the concerts because this was the group’s first concert since 2019/2020’s The Dream Show.
Now, their agency SM Entertainment has revealed that the group is rescheduling their concerts and will now perform at the Seoul (Jamsil) Olympic Stadium. NCT Dream will now hold their second solo concert 'THE DREAM SHOW 2: In A Dream' on 8 and 9 September.
This makes NCT Dream only the eleventh artist and the seventh idol group to ever perform at the famed Seoul Olympic Stadium. Till date, only H.O.T, Cho Yongpil, Shinhwa, Lee Seunghwan, Lee Seungcheol, JYJ, Lee Moonse, Seo Taiji, EXO, BTS and Psy have held concerts there. IU is also slated to perform at the stadium twice later this year.
General ticket sales for the concert can be made through the site Yes24 from 24 August. Priority tickets for fans who had already bought the tickets for The Dream Show 2: In A Dream will happen on 17 August and pre-sales for the official fan club will begin on 22 August. The concert on 9 August will be broadcast live through Beyond Live for fans around the world to enjoy.
