Loona Will Not Be Filming The First Round Queendom 2 As Members Test Positive For Covid-19

Loona will be absent from filming the first round of Mnet’s competition show Queendom 2 as some of the members have tested positive for Queendom 2.

Their label, Blockberry Creative revealed on 28 February that members Haseul, ViVi and Yeojin’s PCR tests came out negative. Additionally, some of the other members of the group have also tested positive in self-test kits for Covid-19. So, the group as a whole will sit out the filming for Round 1 of the show as a precautionary measure.

It was previously confirmed by Mnet that Queendom 2 will feature five groups, Brave Girls, Kep1er, Viviz, WJSN and Loona, and soloist Hyolyn from Sistar competing against each other to win the title of ‘Queen’.

Queendom 2 will start airing from 31 March, 9:20 pm KST.
