Girl group Kep1er formed from the survival show Girls Planet 999 has already received their first music show win!
The group made their debut just ten days ago on 3 January with their first mini album aptly titled, First Impact. The music video for the title track, Wa Da Da, that was also released the same day has already garnered over 33 million views. They recently also made headlines for selling over 100,000 copies of their debut mini album within 24 hours of its release.
On the latest episode of the Mnet music show M Countdown that aired on 13 January, Kep1er got their first music show trophy. They were up against another monster rookie girl group Ive and ultimately won at the show with 6500 total accumulated points.
The group members gave emotional acceptance speeches and wrapped up the show with a fun live encore vocal performance of their title track. Check out the clip below to view the whole thing.
