Member Won from the boy group Ciipher (real name Park Seong-won, 19) and Dayeon from the girl group Kep1er (real name Kim Da-yeon, 19) were recently caught up in dating rumors.
On 13 October, a media outlet reported that Won and Dayeon, who were both born in 2003, are dating. According to the report, the two posted pictures after visiting the same place on their social media accounts and have seemingly worn the same clothes in different instances, all of this has led their fans to speculate that the two idols have been dating.
In response to this, Ciipher's agency Rain Company and Kep1er's agency CJ ENM provided brief statements to ‘Maeil Business Star Today’ on the same day. Rain Company stated, "It is difficult to confirm (if the dating rumors are true) because it is the idol’s private life" while CJ ENM stated, "It is difficult for us to answer because it is a private matter of the idol."
Ciipher’s Won debuted in 2019 as a part of the boy group 1THE9, formed through MBC's survival program 'Under Nineteen'. 1THE9 disbanded in 2020, and Won made a re-debut in the music industry in 2021 as a member of the 7-member South Korean boy group Ciipher.
Kep1er member Da-yeon started her career as a child actress in the 2006 KBS 2TV drama 'Famous Seven Princesses'. After that, she participated in the Mnet audition program 'Girls Planet 999: Girls' War' and came in fourth place in the final rankings - eventually debuting as a member of the girl group Kep1er in 2022.
