Looks like we are getting another girl group debut from Hybe Labels soon.
This new girl group will be managed by Hybe’s new sub-label named ADOR. ADOR was established last year and is headed by Min Heejin who is currently the Chief Brand Officer of Hybe. She is known for working at SM Entertainment for 17 years as a creative director and a board member until joining Hybe in 2019.
The group which has been tentatively called, Min Heejin group be fans till date as their official name hasn’t been revealed yet, announced on 1 July that they will drop their first content later this month. ADOR, which stands for All Doors One Room, uploaded some clips teasing the release of this content by posting an animated clip of five rabbits running on flames on their official social media accounts with the caption, “FINALLY ADOR's new girl group will drop their first content on July 22, 2022 🐇”
While at SM Entertainment, she was in charge of Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO and Red Velvet. She worked closely with all these groups to create their concepts and we can see her genius in the fact that all of these groups have garnered a lot of success - part of which, fans believe, has to do with their concepts and how they portray it. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the debut of this group ever since news about a Min Heejin led girl group debuting under Hybe came out last year.
In an appearance on You Quiz on the Block last year, Min Heejin revealed that the debut song for this group was picked two years ago and she has been preparing for their debut with utmost confidence. The group will primarily consist of members recruited during Hybe’s 2019 Plus Global Audition.
