Girl group LUNARSOLAR have officially disbanded in less than two years since their debut. Their company stated that they apparently came to this decision after a long discussion with the members.

Eseo, Taeryeong, Jian, Yuuri decided to part their ways by supporting each other for their new beginning and J Planet Entertainment also wishes the best for each member’s new future going forward.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have loved and supported LUNARSOLAR until now, and hope you continue to cheer for their new activities to come.
Thank you.
J Planet Entertainment put out the information in Korean, English and Japanese.
Just last month there were rumors about a new LUNARSOLAR comeback after producer and rapper DIME shared a picture with the members of the girl group on his Instagram account stating that they had recorded a new song.
Additionally, some members of the girl group dyeing their hair further strengthened these rumors. Fans were excitedly anticipating this comeback as it has been over a year since LUNARSOLAR’s last comeback, DADADA, which was released on 7 April, 2021.
LUNARSOLAR debuted on 2 September, 2020 under J Planet Entertainment with their single album Solar: Flare. Its four members were Yuuri, Jian, Taeryeong, and Eseo. After the group’s disbandment, their company has also terminated contracts with all four members.
We wish the LUNARSOLAR members all the best for their future activities!
