Gear up Buddys because former GFriend member Yerin is finally debuting solo!
On 4 April, Yerin and her agency, Sublime Artist Agency, shared a picture of the official schedule of the comeback on their official social media accounts.
Yerin is debuting on 18 May with her first mini album, Aria.
According to the schedule, the tracklist for the mini album is dropping tomorrow on 5 May and Yerin’s first concept photo will be released on 6 May.
Next week on 9 May, Monday, the second set of concept photos are set to release. After that, Mood Film 1 is releasing on 10 May, Concept Image 3 on 11 May, Concept Image 4 on 12 May and Mood Film 2 on 13 May. Then, a highlight medley for the album will drop on 16 May, a teaser for the music video on 17 May and finally, the album and the music video on 18 May.
This news comes after Sublime Artist Agency confirmed the Apple singer’s solo debut back in April.
Yerin is the fifth member of GFriend to release music after the group disbanded last year. Earlier this year, Yuju made her solo debut with the track Play on 18 January and Viviz, consisting of former GFriend members Eunha, SinB and Umji, made their debut on 9 February with the track Bop Bop. Only member Sowon, who has now changed her stage name to her birth name Sojung, has yet to release anything - also she is preparing to debut as an actress soon.
Yerin was also filming a mini drama last year. She was cast as a lead alongside CIX member Yonghee in the fantasy romance drama Witch Shop Reopening - a spin-off of the 2019 web drama The Witch Store. It is slated to release sometime this year. Yerin is also starring in another web-drama titled, Sea Village Cloud Resort, which is also releasing this year.
