Former Iz*one member Choi Yena’s fans now has a name! The idol’s company, Yuehua Entertainment, announced through her official Twitter on 17 January that her fandom name is Jigumi.
The term Jigumi is derived from the Korean word for ‘now’ – jigeum. Yena’s name and this term together ‘Yena jigeumina’ translates to ‘now as ever’ in English. So, her fans being called Jigumi(s) means something similar to – they will keep supporting her forever like they are doing now.
