BTS J-Hope Announced As A Headliner For Lollapalooza, Tomorrow X Together Also Performing At The Music Festival

Lollapalooza Music Festival just announced their list of performers for 2022 and we spot some names that are familiar to us Kpop listeners. BTS member J-Hope and Tomorrow X Together are both included!

This is huge for both artists. BTS’ J-Hope will headline the show alongside Green Day, Jane’s Addiction, The Kid Laroi, and Charli XCX on 31 July, Sunday. This is the first time J-Hope is headlining a show as a solo artist. He will also make history as the first and only South Korean artist (till date) to headline Lollapalooza. He will also be the first South Korean artist to headline the main stage at a major U.S. music festival. He is the closing acton 31 July.

As for Tomorrow X Together, this will be their US festival debut. They are set to perform on 30 July, Saturday. The group has talked about how much they miss performing in front of live audiences since the Covid-19 pandemic restricted concert and large masses of people gathering for anything on multiple occasions so we’re sure they are just as thrilled about performing as we are about seeing them live!

Perry Farrell, founder of Lollapalooza said in a statement, “I’m happy to welcome J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together into the Lollapalooza family. These artists have been given great gifts in communication. Their global audience speak different languages but possess an intense passion for their music. Lolla is the place where all music genres live in harmony. These are the superstars of the global phenomenon of K-Pop, and we are so excited to have them at this year’s festival.”
