It has been confirmed that Bigbang member Taeyang, and actress and model Min Hyorin have recently welcomed their first child! A report from Sports Ilbo published on December 6 revealed the birth of the couple’s first born.
Later, Taeyang’s company, YG Entertainment, also confirmed this news and revealed that the child is indeed a boy with the statement, “Taeyang’s wife Min Hyo Rin recently gave birth to a healthy son.”
Fans have been excited about the prospect of the couple’s first child ever since news of Min Hyorin’s pregnancy was first revealed. And it was Hyorin herself who made this announcement back in late September through her agency PLUM A&C.
Apparently, the actress wanted her pregnancy to remain a private affair at first as she wanted to go through it quietly. She even talked about keeping this a secret to her agency but had to later reveal this news as rumours about it began spreading within the Korean media.
In an episode of the variety show Entertainment Live that aired on 12 November, it was also revealed that the couple recently moved into their new penthouse apartment in Hannam-dong that costs 10 billion Won to 15 billion Won which is about $8,485,903 to $12,734,862 (USD).
