It has been officially confirmed that Wanna One are reuniting for the 2021 MAMAs!
The organizers of the event announced on 15 November that all members of the group have agreed to perform together as a group for the award show. The MAMAs this year will take place on 11 December and besides Wanna One, the dance crews from Street Woman Fighter have also been confirmed to perform at the event.
Wanna One is a project group birthed from the second season of Produce 101. The members promoted together for about 18 months before disbanding and pursuing individual career paths. Members Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Kim Jae Hwan, Lai Kuanlin, Yoon Ji Sung and Ha Sung Woon are all solo artists, Ong Seong Wu is mainly focusing on his acting career while still being active as a solo artist, and Bae Jin Young, Lee Dae Hwi and Park Woo Jin are all members of boy groups – the former of CIX and the latter two of AB6IX.
