G Dragon has been a Chanel ambassador for a long time now. The idol has been working with the luxury fashion brand since 2015 and has been their ambassador since 2016. So it isn’t a surprise when we spot him at a Chanel event. He has attended a lot of the house’s fashion shows in particular. But what does surprise (pleasantly of course) us every single time are his outfits when he attends these shows. We know the man is very fashionable but there must be a limit to stylish outfits right? Apparently not for the Bigbang member!
G Dragon attended Chanel’s Cruise 2022/23 Collection show on 5 May as the only Asian celebrity invited to the event. The idol sat front row at the event and was seen interacting with Chanel’s Creative Director, Virginie Viard.
The Chanel Cruise Show set up its runway at the Monte-Carlo Beach hotel this year. And later the same evening, guests which included Kristen Stewart, Vanessa Paradis, Sophia Coppola and Lyna Khoudri alongside the event’s guest of honors, Princess Caroline of Monaco and her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi were then invited to a grand dinner at La Vigie which is a villa the late Karl Lagerfeld frequented. Fashion Mogul Lagerfeld was the creative director at Chanel before Viard.
G Dragon showed up to the event in a spring appropriate outfit which featured a flower patterned blue cardigan over a white shirt and a pair of black pants. He completed the look with a small Chanel crossbody bag with Chanel and Peaceminusone brooches, a couple of pearl necklaces and some bracelets and rings.
He also shared a bunch of pictures from the event and his visit to Monte Carlo on his Instagram.
The rapper’s airport outfit from earlier that week also drew a ton of attention for being very fashionable. On 3 May, G Dragon left for the Chanel Cruise Show in a black blazer with statement buttons and a Chanel brooch, a white shirt and a pair of navy blue wide pants paired with a Peaceminusone beanie and a pair of trendy shades.
As expected, G Dragon’s outfits never disappoint!
