This month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members have been released by the Korean Business Research Institute.
Surprisingly, Lee Junho of 2PM topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 7,425,507, which is 39.07 percent increase from his last month’s score. The idol recently went viral for his duo dance with Girls’ Generation’s Yoona at the MBC Music Festival and his drama, The Red Sleeve, which finished airing on 1 January 2022 was also very popular among drama watchers.
BTS member Jimin remained in second place in January, with a brand reputation index of 7,170,347.
Solo artist and Wanna One member Kang Daniel finished third for the month with a brand reputation index of 5,357,592. He is listed in the boy group member rankings for the first time in years this month – thanks to Wanna One’s recent reunion at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
The rankings were produced using big data collected from December 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022, and an examination of consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 703 boy group members.
