Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings For August Is Here

The monthly Brand Reputation Rankings for Variety Shows have been announced for this month.

With a brand reputation index of 6,615,801 MBC show How Do You Play? (also known as Hangout With Yoo) climbed to the top of this list for the month of August. This marks an impressive 61.98% increase to its index numbers since last month. The show had “Yoo Jae Suk,” “WSG Wannabe” and “MSG Wannabe” as the top-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis and “perform,” “make music” and “cheer on” as their top-ranking related terms.

Another MBC show, I Live Alone (also known as Home Alone) climbed up to the second spot with a brand reputation index of 6,446,333 which is a 74.73% increase in its numbers since last month. The SBS show My Little Old Boy came in third with a brand reputation ranking of 4,295,832.

SBS show Running Man and TV Chosun show Call of The Country got fourth and fifth in the list.

The rankings were calculated using big data collected from 7 July to 7 August, and an examination of 50 variety show’s consumer engagement, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes.
