Gear up all Aghases because we’re getting a GOT7 comeback again!
After over a year of inactivity, GOT7 has announced that they are coming back with a new album. The group containing Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam and Yugyeom released their last track as a full group back on February 20, 2021 titled, Encore.
On 9 May, the group revealed the date of their highly anticipated comeback and it's on 23 May. What made the announcement even more special is the fact that they did it on the anniversary of their fans, Aghase. The group is coming back with an eponymous EP. They also revealed a photo teaser of the comeback on the same day that has words like GOT7, all the members’ name, and the date of the release on it alongside their new logo.
Earlier this month, the group also launched new official social media accounts for their new beginning after leaving JYP Entertainment.
This will be the first track GOT7 promote as a full group since their November 2020 release, Last Breath. It is also the first they promote since departing with their previous label, JYP Entertainment who formed and managed them for the past 7 years. They are currently under Warner Music Korea.
For the past year, all seven members of the group focused on moving forward with their solo careers. They released (debuted with) new music, acted in some dramas, attended high fashion events across the globe and posed for a number of magazine pictorials.
As a big fan of the group ourselves, we are super excited for this comeback! We can’t wait to hear and see what direction their music and concept takes now that they have almost full control of their content.
